St Peregrine Icon Blessing and Anointing of the Sick.
Friday 24th April at 7pm: Most Rev John Sherrington, Archbishop of Liverpool will be coming to lead a service for the first time at Our Lady’s. In this service he will bless the newly commissioned icon of St Peregrine. The icon will be a focal point for prayer for those diagnosed with cancer and life limiting conditions. Belle Vale has some of the highest incidences of cancer in Liverpool. St Peregrine is the patron saint of those with cancer. The service will include the Sacrament of the Sick where those who are ill or frail are anointed with oil. Please make every effort to come to this important moment in our parish’s life. All welcome!
